Lots of people ask me what cupcakes are. The way I can describe it is that they are muffin sized fairy cakes. They are extremely versatile and can be used for any occasion - weddings, birthdays, tea parties or simply with a cup of tea or coffee as a treat to yourself! They can be topped with lighter than air buttercream (made using a recipe from the Magnolia Bakery in New York, made famous in Sex and the City), or drizzled with fondant. Then the magic happens! Toppings can be anything from sprinkles, smarties and skittles for a bold scrummy back-to-childhood theme, or can be sophisticated hand made sugar paste flowers, butterflies or glittering coloured sugars and shiny balls to name a few.......the choice is yours. Bright and bold or subtle and sophisticated the options are endless.

 

The flavours are: Madagascan Vanilla, Belgian Chocolate, Belgian Chocolate Fudge (called Devil's Food cake in the states, for a good reason!), Organic Orange or Lemon and Carrot Cake - in fact if there is a flavour that you would like that I haven't listed I'm sure I could do that as well! 

 

 

I have three price levels, all of which have the same standard of cupcake and buttercream in any flavour to keep it simple.

 

The three prices are:

 

£1.50 for cupcakes with bought in decorations such as sprinkles, metallic coloured balls etc (see photo of bright cupcakes in my gallery)

 

£2.50 for cupcakes with simple handmade decorations, preferably limited to one or two designs (see Mother's Day cupcakes in my gallery)

 

£3.00 for cupcakes with handmade decorations such as the sweet sixteen cupcakes in the gallery - the price difference for these is that they are individually designed to your chosen theme, so can have many different decorations, glitter, endless colour combinations etc so take a lot longer to make.

 

For individually Boxed cakes (see gallery) for wedding favours or gifts add £1 to the price of each Cupcake

 

 

 

I don't inflate my prices for weddings, so whether your event is large or small you can stop worrying about the cost of the cake! Cupcakes pictured left are £3.00 each.
